‘Doll Clothes of Yore’ was founded in 2006 by then 14-year-old Emily Marsh. Having been taught the basics of sewing at a young age, her dream was to provide quality doll clothing not made abroad, but in the United States.
Every ‘Doll Clothes of Yore’ dress is painstakingly designed and handmade by Emily. Each design is produced through hours of historical research and combining fabrics, colors and trims. Because every dress is handmade, no two are quite alike.
Our mission is to instill in the next generation a love for history and a ‘lady-like’ spirit. We believe that learning doesn’t exist only in the schoolroom, but in everyday activities such as playing. This is why we list not only the features of a product on our product pages, but also some of the history behind the style, design, or color.
